Almotan Tablets contain Almotriptan 12.5 mg, a selective serotonin receptor agonist (triptan) used in the acute treatment of migraine attacks. It helps relieve headache, nausea, sensitivity to light and sound, and other migraine-related symptoms by narrowing blood vessels in the brain and reducing inflammation. Almotan is not used for migraine prevention but provides effective relief when taken at the onset of an attack.

• Maximum daily dose: 25 mg (two 12.5 mg tablets)

• Not intended for use in children or for migraine prevention

• Not recommended for patients with heart disease, high blood pressure, or history of stroke

• Use only for diagnosed migraines; not for other types of headaches

• Avoid use with other triptans or ergot medications within 24 hours
